Providence Classical Academy, Shreveport, LA, is seeking to hire a master teacher for the 2008–09 school year.  This role would primarily involve helping to train teachers how to teach classically especially in the logic and rhetoric stage.  This teacher would also take on a limited schedule in the classroom, teaching the classes that they are most gifted in.  The ideal person for this role would have at least 3–5 years experience teaching in a classical Christian setting, be knowledgeable of Classical pedagogy, and be especially gifted at teaching in the logic and/or rhetoric stage.  PCA located in Shreveport, LA, and is a growing gospel-driven classical Christian school founded in 2004 that will have K–7th for 2008–09 with approximately 75 students.  Having a strong grammar school, PCA is focused on developing the logic and rhetoric schools.  If interested, please e-mail résumé and cover letter to Howard Davis, board president, hqdavis@gmail.com or call (318)344-1232.
